Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet all the following eligibility conditions to apply for HSSC CET Group D Recruitment 2026:
Nationality: Citizen of India, or citizen of Nepal, or citizen of Bhutan with the required eligibility certificate.
Educational Qualification: Passed Matriculation (10th Class) from a recognized board; Hindi or Sanskrit studied up to Matriculation level.

Syllabus for HSSC CET Group D 2026
The question paper follows the Matriculation standard and is divided into two parts.
Part A – 75% Weightage
General Awareness: Current events, national and international affairs, Haryana specific news, important personalities, and cultural events.
Reasoning Ability: Logical sequences, analogies, coding‑decoding, blood relationships, direction sense, and non‑verbal reasoning.
Quantitative Aptitude: Number systems, arithmetic, algebra, geometry, data interpretation, and basic statistics.
English Language: Grammar, vocabulary, comprehension passages, and error correction exercises.
Hindi Language: Grammar, vocabulary, comprehension, and Hindi‑Sanskrit script knowledge up to Matriculation level.
Relevant Subject Knowledge (where applicable): Basic concepts of commerce, science, or other subjects related to the specific Group D post.
Part B – 25% Weightage
Haryana History: Important events, rulers, freedom movement, and regional heritage.
Current Affairs: Latest statewide and national developments up to the application period.
Geography: Physical and political map of Haryana, districts, resources, and demographic details.
Literature: Notable literary figures, regional language (Hindi), and cultural contributions.
Environment: Climate, natural resources, pollution control, and Haryana’s conservation initiatives.
Culture and Heritage: festivals, traditions, handicrafts, and historical sites of Haryana.
Selection Process
Written Examination (CET): Candidates must clear the 100‑question offline CET to qualify.
Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates appear for verification of certificates and residence proof.
Medical Examination: Physical fitness assessment as per the post’s requirements.
